With a team of 3 other Stanford engineers, we designed, developed, and manufactured an agricultural device for rural African farmers that has since sold thousands of units in Africa (sales began in Ethiopia and have since expanded.
SOCIAL:
Developed World's First Mobile AIDS Clinic in Kenya
Worked with an international team to start the world's first mobile camel AIDS clinic in Samburuland, Kenya and did wildlife conservation work in Zimbabwe just as their economy was beginning its downturn.
RANDOM:
I ran a marathon on my birthday on a whim without prior training.
I helped to capture animal poachers in the bush of Zimbabwe.
I once sent 39 emails to a prominent entrepreneur I wanted to talk to (I told him in the first email that I would send them daily) before he finally responded.
There is nothing in the world I hate more than losing.
